I really liked this first book in Jessie's new series！  The book was filled with wonderful characters searching their faith for answers to their heartfelt questions。  It was thought provoking at times and made me ponder what I would do in the same situation，  It also made me feel closer to the characters， especially Rose。  Rose and Derek felt so real with their perceived flaws。  I found I could really relate to Rose， her divorce， and her love of children。 I think Derek was one in a million and I I really liked this first book in Jessie's new series！  The book was filled with wonderful characters searching their faith for answers to their heartfelt questions。  It was thought provoking at times and made me ponder what I would do in the same situation，  It also made me feel closer to the characters， especially Rose。  Rose and Derek felt so real with their perceived flaws。  I found I could really relate to Rose， her divorce， and her love of children。 I think Derek was one in a million and I enjoyed the Dating Game that he and Rose played。  I liked Rose's family and Derek's Gram and Paps。  They were such fun supporting characters。  This story was full of humor too， which made it so much fun to read。  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。 。。。more

Rose and Derek have both been cheated on， left for another， and still hurting。 Loved how these two got together。 There is a thread of forgiveness， truthfulness and seeking the Lord throughout this book - loved it。 The dating game had a twist that melted my heart。 One of the best endings ever。 Great start to this series。

A new series written by fantastic author， Jessie Gussman。 The characters were a couple that had been dealt a tough blow。 Both of them had their marriages torn apart by cheating spouses。 Instead of holding on to the anger and feelings of betrayal they tried hard to let go of the hurt and put their faith in God。They learned that letting God take control made it possible to receive an abundance of blessings。
